Usually challenges at work are more social and cultural in nature. However, at Infinite Power Solutions, I don't face these problems and the environment is very supportive of performers regardless of gender, " beams Shruthi.

Shruthi is a bachelor in engineering with specialization in IT.

Family background
An only child, Shruthi grew up in a middle class household where her father had a central government job while her mother was a homemaker. She was encouraged to focus on various disciplines and not just academics. She now stays with her husband and little boy who is three and half years old.

Working in Male-dominated field of IT
"In a typical IT environment, one faces the challenge of working with aggressive and highly assertive colleagues. Once again, at Infinite, I am privileged to enjoy an environment where being assertive is the prerogative of performers, regardless of gender or hierarchy, " says Shruthi.

Does a Glass ceiling exist?
Sure, a glass ceiling exists for anyone who stops being ambitious. As long as you are focused and open to growth, I believe that the glass ceiling only exists in one's mind.

Advice to working women
Working women must learn very early in their careers not to mix their personal and professional life. It is important to draw a line without beating themselves about it and striking a balance between work and life.

Hobbies
An avid reader and she totally enjoys her time with TV after a hard week juggling between work and home.

Future plans
Shruthi is quite clear about her future. She sees herself exceling in her professional life and still finding quality time to spend with the family.
