Eastern IT Group : A Finger In Every Pie

Eastern IT Group of Companies is into many things-distribution, retail and
network integration. And the combined revenue for all these activities stood at
Rs 152 crore for the group, a 46 percent growth over the previous fiscal's Rs
102 crore.

Eastern Group has emerged as one of the strongest companies in the east with
a product portfolio that has most of the leading brands within, especially in
the networking space.

Last year, it entered into a distribution arrangement with Lenovo in the
eastern market. Amounting to a volume of 12,000 units per month, the company
stated the monetary value of the tie-up amounting to Rs 30 crore annually.
Eastern's core competency lies in the fact that it is still the exclusive
distributor of D-Link in the region.
