Epson conducts partner meet in Zurich

Bangalore:  Epson's annual business partner meet has concluded in
Zurich, Switzerland. The meeting, spread over 3 days, was held to review Epson's
performance for the year 2007 and to discuss the roadmap and strategies for the
year ahead. Epson Accredited Partners (EAP's) from all over India had gathered
for the discussion.

At the meet Epson informed its partners that it would be closing the year
2007 with a market share of about 55 percent in Dot matrix printers, 15 percent
in inkjet multi-function printers, 15 percent in single function inkjet
printers, 60 percent in point of sale printers and 18 percent in projectors.

Epson also provided the partners with an insight into the market dynamics in the
Asia Pacific region and its influence on the Indian market. The presentations at
the meet provided insights to partners to help them plan their strategies with a
view to enhance their opportunities in the current and future market.
