Epson launches initiative to support Child Relief and You

Epson India has announced a month long initiative for it's dot matrix printers (DMPs) and has committed to give a certain amount of money for every Epson DMP sold to the child rights organization, CRY (Child Relief and You) for the month of August. The money from this initiative will go towards the education and healthcare of children in CRY supported programs. 

To build awareness for this initiative Epson is advertising it in all channel magazines and is sending mailers and posters to the entire channel community encouraging them to participate. Commenting on this, Epson's Business Products GM, N Sambamoorthy says, " As a responsible corporate citizen we realize there are often instances when we can contribute to a noble cause while continuing to focus on our business objectives. This instance was one of them. When we approached CRY we realized we could make a difference, even if only in a small way. " The initiative will run from August 1 to August 31 across the country.
