Epson launches ultra-wide format printer

Epson has announced the launch of the EPSON Stylus Pro 11880. Featuring the
EPSON UltraChrome K3 ink with Vivid Magenta and the Micro Piezo TFP print head,
the ultra-wide format printer offers the customer a wider colour gamut and a
print quality.

The EPSON Stylus Pro 11880 uses an 8-colour ink system and users can expect
better vibrancy by the EPSON UltraChrome K3 inks. The EPSON Stylus Pro 11880
features the EPSON UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta inks in a new extra-large
700ml ink cartridge size.

The print head promises greater control over speed and ink droplet size,
critical in exhibition-quality photo prints and also generates faster print
throughput with the doubling of nozzles from 180 to 360.

The new image processing technology also promotes even tonal transition and
enhances shadow detail, critical in black and white prints.

To ensure perfect prints every time, Epson has integrated an intelligent auto
nozzle check system into the new printer.

The EPSON StylusPro 11880 features network-ready support via built-in gigabit
Ethernet support, with P3 compression to reduce memory load on computers.
