Epson Micro Piezo printers for SMEs

Bengaluru: Epson has launched the Stylus Office range-T30, T40W, TX300F and TX600FW in India for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). In addition, this document scanner market will also be addressed with the launch of two sheet-fed scanners, the GT-S80 and GT-S50.

According to the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India, there are approximately 13.2 million SMEs in India. As per a Gartner report, companies spend up to three percent of business revenue on document printing. Epson recognizes that this forms a significant chunk of the operating costs of any business. In a competitive market, SMEs cite rising operations costs as a key concern to the bottomline and a barrier to growth.

Epson's Micro Piezo print delivers spherical dots with high precision dot placement, delivering laser-quality image resolutions of up to 5,760x1,440 dots-per-inch (dpi). With this new print head that sports 360 nozzles per inch, SMEs are able to achieve an increased printing speed - at laser default quality - of up to two pages per second.

Combined with Epson's Durabrite Ultra, resin-coated pigment inks, prints from the Epson Stylus Office dry instantly; in addition, they are both water and smudge-resistant.

A wireless network connectivity feature has been engineered in selected models of the Epson Stylus Office, enabling SMEs to print documents from virtually anywhere in the office.
