ESS partners with Redington India

Eastern Software System (ESS), a resource planning (ERP) company announced
that it has signed an agreement with Redington India to become Redington's
value-added reseller (VAR).

ESS expects the agreement with Redington to play an important role in ESS'
pursuit of its total IT outsourcing (or TITO) business strategy. According to
Anil Bakht, Chairman and MD of ESS, "Businesses which have made us their
TITO partners leave their technology buying and maintenance decisions to us.
With the business environment becoming increasingly competitive, many businesses
do not have the time and resources to keep up with advances in technology, and
therefore are not always able to make informed technology choices. We, too, face
these demands, whether we are providing TITO services, deploying our flagship
ERP product "ebizframe," or developing an application for a specific
business."

He Further added, "Rather than devoting time and resources to working
with multiple technology vendors every time we have a turnkey project or a TITO
service order, we have chosen instead to work with a single, multi-vendor
distribution house and to leverage that vendor's expertise in doing the same.
Redington emerged as the choice to serve that role. We are delighted that
Redington has similarly recognized our strength in IT management and
deployments, and has chosen to sign us up as its VAR."
