Expansion on agenda for Eurotech Technologies

Bangalore-based Eurotech Technologies is on an expansion mode. The company is
looking to move to cities like Hyderabad, Chennai and Cochin. According to Anuj
Jain, MD, Eurotech Technologies, "We are now gearing up for the next phase
of market growth and expansion plans in the country. There is a large base of
customers in the Tier 1 and Tier II cities and a need for IT infrastructure.
Currently we have four channel partners across the metros and we are looking to
appoint about three to four system integrators and resellers each in the B and C
class cities."

The company is on the lookout for channel partners who are aggressive with a
sound technical background, as well as have a strong market presence in the
up-market cities in the country.

"We are looking actively at tier 2 cities. Our entire range of new
products and our channel programme represents a core component of our overall
strategic investment in channel resources. The programme will enable and support
channel partners by providing access to key marketing and sales tools,"
Jain added. "Eurotech's channel program is targeted towards long-term
customer and partner retention. Our partners are key to Eurotech's business
strategy and we look forward to maintaining a regular dialogue with them,
ensuring mutual success," he said.

Meanwhile Eurotech has recently launched high-performance USB-Telephone
Gateway that enables the user to make and receive Skype call by connecting an
analog phone or a cordless telephone to the gateway. The Gateway can also be
used to forward incoming Skype calls to a remote telephone or cell phone. The
Gateway switches between regular (PSTN) and Internet calls. The unit works with
any regular or cordless telephone and rings normally for both regular and
Internet calls. Other additions in the product line are: Inter PC Cable, VGA
resolution cable and 8-port USB KVM switches. The products are targeted at the
enterprise as well as the Small and Medium Businesses.

Eurotech also re-launched its fibre optic cable to be ROHs compliant. This
six core outdoor RoHS compliant fibre optic cable features a black UV- and
abrasion-resistant polyolefin jacket and a gel-filled cable core that is
impervious to water penetration and has an anti-fungus protection for use in
underground applications. The cable allows customers to future proof their
installations, and reduces the total cost of ownership by maintaining
compatibility with existing infrastructure.

Sharing his thought on the relaunch Jain said, "We believe we can help
drive acceptance with products that adhere to quality and meet several national
and international environmental initiatives. The re-launching was smooth and the
distributors are assisting customers and educating them in accepting RoHS
compliant products."

In addition Eurotech has also launched a new range of 8-port KVM switches.
The 8-port BestNet KVM switches features a 19" rack mountable design and
one U' Size. The Best Net KVM solutions provide secure access, control, and
management of an entire enterprise infrastructure and multiple users can have
secure access and control of multiple servers and platforms using a variety of
access and connectivity options.

The BestNet KVM switch enables plug-and-play installation, which helps in
leveraging the existing infrastructure for consolidated access to almost every
enterprise IT device, anytime, from anywhere and supports
Win95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP, Netware, OS/2, Mac, Sun, Linux and Unix.
