Foxconn appoints new distis

Foxconn's Middle East, Africa and India branch office recently announced new
distributors for the Indian territory. According to a Foxconn statement, Maxtone
Electronics and eSys India will join Supertron Electronics and Jupiter Infosys
in India for distribution of all Foxconn branded products like motherboards,
chassis, VGA, coolers, Barebone systems.

Mumbai-based Maxtone Electronics will focus its sights on the distribution of
motherboards and would work out different strategies for different partners.
“There will be regular schemes for the dealers along with special incentives and
extra benefits,” said Champakraj Gurjar, MD, Maxtone Electronics.

Announcing the two new distributors, David Shih, MD, Foxconn Middle East,
Africa and India said, “India is an important emerging market with about six
million PCs sold yearly. In 2007, we would establish wide and strong network of
distributors across India to ensure that our products are available at all the
sectors in the country.”
