Fujitsu Asia launches two new scanners

New Delhi: Fujitsu Asia unveiled the ScanSnap S1500 and S1500M color scanners for the ASEAN and India markets.

In 'Normal' mode, A4-sized color (or grayscale) and monochrome documents can be scanned at 20 pages per minute (duplex). Under this mode, input resolutions per color (or grayscale) and monochrome documents are as high as 150 dots per inch (dpi) and 300 dpi respectively, for high image clarity.

The scanners are bundled with the ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap 4.0 software which generates editable Microsoft Word and Excel images, CardMinder V4.0 and Cardiris 3.6 for ScanSnap, which efficiently scans and organizes large volumes of business cards and Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard and Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional, which generates password and digital ID attached PDF files

The ScanSnap S1500 is designed for the Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems while the ScanSnap S1500M is compatible with the Mac OS X operating system. Both scanners offer a Universal Serial Bus (USB) 2.0 interface.
