Genesis IT Innovations on expansion mode

Bangalore-based Genesis IT Innovations Ltd (GITIL) is looking to expand its
channel in India. Currently, working with about 12 channel partners across the
country, the company is looking to grow this number to 60 over the next one
year.

Talking about the expansion plans, Shylakumar Balu, MD, Genesis IT Innovation
said, “We are also looking at tier-2 and 3 cities for partners. We would appoint
systems integrators (SIs) as well as resellers, since we have both products as
well as the solutions line of business. We would also train our partners on the
technical aspects of our products and solutions as well as how to position them
in the market.”

As part of its growth plans, Genesis is also contemplating entering the SMB
market space because they see a huge growth potential there. As part of that
exercise, the company will launch new products and brand them as well. This,
Genesis believes, would give them an extra mileage as far as customers are
concerned.
