Gigabyte launches P45 motherboard lineup

Gigabyte has announce its new lineup of Intel P45 chipset-based motherboards,
featuring durable components, thermal performance, dynamic energy saver advanced
technology and secure features including onboard TPM and smart backup with
plug-n-play hardware RAID.

Based on the new Intel P45 chipset, these platforms deliver support for
1600MHz front side bus for the latest Intel Core 2 multi-core processors,
including 45nm Penryn CPUs. With models supporting either dual channel DDR3
memory up to 1900MHz (by OC), or DDR2 up to 1200MHz, P45 motherboards provide
good performance and maximum overclocking potential.

It is further equipped to support ATI CrossFireX technology with dual PCI
Express 2.0 x8 interfaces, delivering double the PCI Express bandwidth of
5Gbit/s for the ultimate in gaming performance.
