Hitachi Data Systems India appoints Rajesh Itagi as Director-Services Sales

Data Systems has announced the
appointment of Rajesh Itagi as Director of Services Sales for India.
He will be responsible for driving revenues and supporting the field
sales teams, position the company's broad spectrum of professional
services offerings which includes assessment and consulting, planning
and design, implementation and transition, residency and managed
services and education offerings to help customers leverage the
company's technology to drive their business results.

Commenting on his appointment,
Vivekanand Venugopal-VP and GM, India, Hitachi Data Systems, said,
“We are excited to have Rajesh on the management team, as we
realign our business model to software and services, he will execute
business strategies focused around consultative services,
technology-focused services and managed/ remote optimization services

Itagi has close to 20 years of IT
Industry experience covering areas of pre-sales, consulting,
engineering, project management and customer support. He has worked
for leading IT organizations like Wipro, Sun Microsystems and EMC. In
his last assignment at EMC, he was responsible for the consulting and
managed services sales for India and SAARC. He is a multi-faceted
professional with extensive experience in storage, security and
enterprise management Solutions.
