HP bundles back-up and recovery services with select notebooks

Hewlett-Packard India Pvt Ltd has announced free bundling offering of HP BRS (back-up & recovery services) on selected
configurations of the HP Compaq NC4000 (ultra-portable Notebook) and the HP Compaq NC6000 (Premium thin &
light  notebook), targeted at corporate/enterprise customers.

HP India business notebooks country manager Raghu Raman stated, "The scheme provides this service which offers value to
the customer in the form of 500 MB of storage space valid for one year on HP Hosted Datacenter for free.
This free HP storage space is complete with a list of benefits, including high security features, which the customer is able to get from a single
vendor. Also the customer saves additional cost which he would have incurred if he chooses to opt for such a service from a separate service provider." 

The inaugural free bundle offering will be valid till August 31, 2004 for all the shipments done on the on the HP Compaq
NC4000 (ultra-portable Notebook) - DZ818PA#UUF and the HP Compaq NC6000 (Premium thin & light
notebook) - PF900PA#UUF. The same is available with other SKU's for a nominal charge.

The HP BRS is a back-up recovery service is sold under the HP packaged solutions services
worldwide.
