HP's Pavilion desktops go wireless

Hewlett-Packard India introduced the new HP Pavilion m7382IN
model enabled with a Wireless LAN (802.11 b/g), starting at Rs 34,990. Wireless
technology can help multiple-PC households easily share a single Internet
connection. Computers within the house can share data or resources such as a
printer-all without running cables throughout the home. Wireless technology
has advanced to not only providing data connections between computing devices
but networks as well-offering complete mobility at home.

Commenting on the launch, P Krishnakumar, Country Manager
Desktops - Personal Systems Group, Hewlett Packard India Sales said,
"Enhanced with revolutionary new Avivo technology, the new HP Pavilion
m7382IN Media Center PC, can be connected wirelessly with home entertainment
devices for digital convergence."

A TV tuner card with a remote control and Creative speakers
with sub-woofer, will allow users to watch movies and play songs in
theatre-quality sound and enhance the gaming experience. These new desktops are
also enabled with HP's unique LightScribe technology that allow users to burn
data and laser etch silk-screen quality labels on their CDs.
