HP unveils server for Asia

HP has introduced a new server designed to deliver optimal outcomes for businesses in Asia. Available exclusively in Asia Pacific and powered by the new dual core and quad-core Intel Xeon processors, the DL180 server offers the lowest cost per gigabit (Gb) of data in its class.

As part of the growing family of servers developed in Asia for the Asian markets, the HP ProLiant DL180 features essential management and redundancy and sufficient power to handle complex business requirements. Its new 2U chassis and the 2Gb DIMM memory option kit are specifically designed to support the computing needs of growing businesses. In addition, the server meets the needs of network service providers looking to manage the networking, gaming, mail and messaging, file and print and data storage applications of their customers.
