Hyundai forays into Indian UPS market

Hyundai is all set to foray into the Indian UPS market. The Line interactive
UPS, i-600, offers surge protection and battery back-up and regulates the AC
power using one converter. i-600 is based on sine wave technology and is
available at many dealer points all over India.

According to Alankar Mittal, VP- Power Products, Hyundai, “This new
offering is designed for Indian users, keeping in mind their changing needs and
an increasing shortage of power. This new launch is another milestone in our
endeavor to provide customers with a perfect choice for power protection to
their electronic gadgets besides reinforcing our commitment to Indian consumer
with captive and emergency power needs at all levels.”
