“I would love to be reborn as a TIGER”

If you were reborn, you would like
to be born as?

I would like to be born as Nityanand
Shetty again, because I have enjoyed my life so far without any
regrets. If given a chance to be born as an animal, I would
definitely love to be a tiger because it rules over the jungle and I
consider myself as the king ruling over others.

If you can change one thing about
your past what would you change and why?

There are a few things which I would
like to change, like I always wanted to be an MBA, but could not
pursue it because of my personal issues. Also, I had a very dear
friend of mine, whom I lost at the age of 27. I miss him a lot and
want him back.

Five things you cannot live without?

My parents, wife, son, daughter and my
mobile.

Given a chance to act in a movie
which character would you like to portray?

I would love to portray Aamir Khan's
role in '3 idiots', because I follow the same values which he has
shown in the movie. I follow my heart and love to do what I feel like
doing. I don't like to hold back on my dreams and do what my heart
asks me to do. I believe life is for once and I should make the most
of it.

The best compliment you have ever
received?

I really like it when my son says, that
he is proud to have a father like me and that is the best compliment
which I feel proud about. In fact that compliment gives me the
motivation to never let my son down and keep up to his expectations.

What is the one thing that you would
like to change in yourself?

I have to be more disciplined and
punctual in my professional, as well as, my personal life. I am
indeed working towards it, but I hope to learn it as soon as
possible. Also, I am trying to control particular things which will
help me in the same.

Where do you see yourself five years
down the line?

I always wanted to do something in the
hospitality industry, maybe I will own a resort in the next five
years and by the grace of god I have started working on it. I am
happy that being in the IT sector for many years now, I have learned
to maintain relationship with the customers, which will help in
achieving my dream.

Embarrassing moment?

This was the time when I was trying to
woo my wife at a party. The first mistake that I made was I got
bouquets for her boss and not for her and second was when the party
got over. It was time to leave and very confidently, I went up to my
wife and asked her, “Who is dropping Cinderella home?” And to my
surprise she refused as she already had a ride back home. My niece
and nephews still tease me a lot for this incident.
