Ingram rejuvenates Rendezvous

Mumbai: After three years, Ingram Micro is rejuvenating its Rendezvous
channel partner event and proposes to take its top performing partners to Hong
Kong in 2008.

Bimal Das, Director-Products at IMIL said that the event is being planned,
but refused to divulge details. He further added, "We are still finalizing
things. This event will be conducted after three years and this time around we
would take top channel partners of the country to Hong Kong."

The event is likely to be held in February 2008 and around 200 partners are
likely to participate.

The last Rendezvous was held at Morocco in 2004 where over 120 partners took
part in a five-day trip, touring Casablanca and Marrakeh.

The event also saw the presence of several vendors who made presentations and
shared their future product roadmaps. At the last event, representatives from
Samsung, Nortel, Cisco, Seagate, Veritas, Xerox IBM, were present.
