Iris Computers opens nine new offices in India

Iris Computers, a distribution company representing IBM, Lenovo, HP, Acer,
Motorola, BenQ, and i-Digital has set up nine new branch offices across the
country. Having established fourteen offices already, with its headquarters at
New Delhi, Iris has now established its presence at Bhubaneswar, Guwahati,
Jammu, Coimbatore, Ludhiana, Cochin, Jaipur, Goa and Surat.

According
to Sanjiv Krishen, Chairman, Iris Computers, “The most noticeable trend in the
industry is the shift towards B- and C-class cities. The customers at these
smaller locations are going in for branded products as the price difference
between branded and assembled has shrunk to an all time low. Moreover, the
government is spending high on e-governance projects at district level and
below. The small and medium business enterprises are graduating to big business
and are witnessing large scale IT deployments to stay competitive and reap the
benefits. All these factors call for our presence at these locations.”
