For the past one-year DQ Channels and The DQ Week have been organizing the
regional IT Panchayats across the country creating a platform for an interaction
between dealers and distributors. This has helped partners raise various issues
that concern that affect them, before distributors and to interact with them at
a level, which is normally not possible on a day-to-day basis. Till now, the
event has covered over 40 B- and C-class cities across the country and is going
strong.

Now, realizing how this event will help them, DQ Channels and The DQ Week are
getting requests from associations for bringing the IT Panchayat to their
cities. Recently, the Aligarh IT Association (AITA) sent a petition to organize
the event in their region to give their members an opportunity to learn about
the upcoming technologies in the market, courtesy the sponsors of the event, and
have an open discussion with their distributors and fellow dealers.

"Our association has always been reading about IT Panchayat organized in
various towns so we would like to invite the publication to conduct such an
event in Aligarh, which has a good IT market. The association members are very
enthusiastic about it and I am sure it will help the dealers in raising their
concerns with the vendors and distributors," said Vijay DN Bhargava,
Secretary, AITA.

Not so long ago, the Allahabad Computer Dealer Welfare Association also sent
a similar request and the IT Panchayat was organized in Allahabad following that
and the event was a huge success. Partners came up to thank CyberMedia India for
conducting such an interactive event, which helped them get some solutions to
the daily business problems they face.

The demand of associations to hold such forums between the distributors and
channel partners in upcountry indicate that channel wants more acknowledgements.
It also shows that there is a need for a platform through which the associations
can interact with vendors and distributors and make them hear their issues of
concern. Besides this, channel does not want to lag behind in awareness about
latest technologies and want to be rightly informed.
