It's election time in TAIT

Mumbai-based Traders Association of IT (TAIT) is conducting its annual elections on September 29 in Andheri. The election will be held for the positions of three Directors. The positions will be vacated by Anees Khalfay of Radiant Computer Technologies, Champakraj Gurjar of Maxtone Electronics and Sandeep Parasrampuria, MD, The Best International who had recently resigned from this position.

As per the association's constitution, there are 10 directors in the executive council. During the annual elections, seven members are elected and they will decide on the remainder three who will form part of the executive council. Every year three members from the council retire from their tenure, to make place for new representatives.

This year, four people have contested for the position of Director, which was held by Parasrampuria. These include Sampath Iyengar of Sam 7 Infotech, Vinod Mulchandani of AarVee Computers, Girish Rathod of Compex Systems and Dilip Vanigotha.
