ITAO is back in action

Having been dormant for several months now, the IT Association of Orissa (ITAO)
is finally gearing up with activities and initiatives planned for the state's
channel community. The association elected its new executive council recently
and Anil Kumar Choudhury of Maple Computer & Communication was chosen as the
President.

He claimed that ITAO has formed three new cells this year to execute most
important tasks as defined during the first executive committee meeting. These
committees include ITAO Club Committee to be headed by Manoj Patra of InfoWorld,
the ITAO Exhibition Committee to be lead by Manoj Lalani of Lalani Computech and
ITAO Member's Business Development Committee to be headed by Brahma Prakash
Mishra of Targous Technology.

“We have once again decided to make ITAO active and plan to do lot of
activities. That's why we have identified the major areas that need immediate
attention and have formed a task force accordingly. Also to smooth out the jobs,
we have deployed different individuals who will take the responsibilities to
execute different jobs in order to deliver in a professional manner,” said
Choudhury.

The ITAO Club committee will be working on to realize the association's long
cherished dream of constructing a dedicated building for ITAO. “We have been
talking to the local government for subsidized land allotment. This time, we
will pursue the matter in a more active way in order to make it happen as soon
as possible,” informed Choudhury.
