JCDA to hold elections this month

Jalandhar Computer Dealers' Association will be conducting its annual
elections this month. The association is planning to hold a meeting with the
members in the first week of the month in order to finalize the schedule of the
election.

The current president of the association-Rajiv Khanna, shared that the
meeting is likely to be held in the first or second week of March after which an
election committee would be organized that will take the responsibility of
conducting the annual election. Once the committee is appointed, the floor will
be open for the members to file their nominations.

"Though we have very good understanding among the members, the
association intends to give equal opportunity to all members to nominate
themselves for the post of President. Our main objective is that all the members
should be given equal chance to come forward and take the responsibility of
running the association," said Khanna.

With the appointment of a new committee the association would continue to
conduct its annual events like family get together for the dealers and the
annual IT expo.
