Jerome Rodriguez to head Socomec UPS India

Chennai: Socomec UPS India (SUI), a part of the French-based Socomec Group has
appointed Jerome Rodriguez (37) as its MD. The appointment of Rodriguez
with rich experience in the power sector in India, is to strengthen the
company's position in the country's UPS business segment. He is to head
the company in a strategic path of success, focusing on the SME (small
and medium enterprises) and SOHO (small office/home office) markets,
which will be instrumental in driving not only the growth of the
company but also the entire Indian UPS industry as well. Working
towards this goal, initially he is to permeate the prospective areas of
the Indian market with the company's new range of 'ITYS' and 'NeTYS RT'
UPS systems, developed on online double conversion technology and
'ASYS' and 'STATYS' range of static transfer switches, used to enable
redundant power supply to all types of mission critical applications.
Rodriguez has an engineering degree from ENSAM Superior Engineering
College (Paris) with global experience of working in markets such as
Mexico and France. His experience in India, in the power sector for
over five years will be a significant advantage to the growth of the
organization.
