Formally announcing this, Karnataka IT secretary MK Shankarlinge Gowda also disclosed that the state's hardware policy would be announced during the event.
With a backdrop that India is emerging as one of the key destination of the global $40 billion gaming and animation industry, this year the event will host a special pavilion on animation, games and media technology.
"With Karnataka contributing one-third of the nation's IT exports, we continue to support and build this booming industry by providing adequate infrastructure, developing real estate across the IT corridor, and honing the numerous technical educational institutions to churn out human resource talent" Gowda said.
