Kaspersky appoints TAG as their regional distributor

Mumbai: Kaspersky Lab has appointed TAG as their exclusive distributor for the western region.
“We have appointed TAG as our regional distributor for the western region for desktop retail products. They will be handling our single-user and three-user products in the West. I feel that they have a very good network and we could also renew their product in the coming year,” said MH Noble, MD, Zoom Technologies, India.

Zoom Technologies is the national distributor for Kaspersky products.

He further elaborated that the earlier distributor had difficulty in liquidating the targets, so they had to take this decision. Kaspersky has a huge range of products in the corporates, enter­prise, mobile and retail segment. He also added that there is a necessity for large number of distributors for anti-virus products.
According to Noble, the company is appointing the distributors depending on their performance.

Meanwhile, Kamal Kamdar, Director, TAG said, “We will be looking after Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa and Madhya Pradesh region in the West. Our main strategy would be to target and excel ourselves in those segments where the previous distributors have failed.”

He also added that they are following the market-size closely and planning on having a channel base in the future.

“It is a dynamic market and if we distribute Kaspersky products it will be an added advantage for the sale of our products as well,” added Kamdar.
