Kingston Technology unveils DataTraveler 300

Mumbai: Kingston Technology announced the launch of its 256GB USB flash drive DataTraveler 300. Users of the product will benefit from quick transfer rates and the optional of password protecting their data.

“Having the ability to carry over 51,000 images or a paper tower 1346 meters tall in such a small format, demonstrates how far flash technology has developed,” said Nathan Su, Director-Flash Memory Sales, Kingston APAC. “Users can also safeguard their data by initializing the Password Traveler software which will allow business users and consumers to password protect their data in a privacy zone without the need of administrator rights,” he added.

The Kingston DataTraveler 300 features a cap-less design that will protect the USB connector when it is not in use and is enhanced for Windows ReadyBoost.The product is available only in 256GB and is backed by a five-year warranty and free tech support.
