KYE to open 20 retail stores in India

Taiwan-based KYE Systems appointed Transtek Infoways, which
has 10 branches in India as its national distributor while in Q2 it plans to
increase its manpower in the country. Sandeep Ramani, Country Manager, Asian
Sales Division, KYE Systems said, “KYE will focus on India this fiscal. We
will appoint regional managers in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Bangalore to push
volumes and create brand awareness.”

In another major expansion strategy, KYE Systems is opening
20 Genius retail out-lets in the country. Five each will be in Delhi and
Bangalore, four each in Chennai and Mumbai and two in Hyderabad. Ramani said,
“The outlets will be functional by April 1, 2006 in all the cities.”

The company is also launching various schemes and
activities for the channel partners and plans to expand its channel network.
Ramani informed, “ We hope to increase our channel base by appointing partners
who have more reach in B and C class cities. Also we plan to bring more offers
for end customers here in India.”
