Laptop lifting incident in Ludhiana

Ludhiana: Ludhiana market seems to be earning a tag of being theft and burglary-prone. In another case of theft that took place in town, a man broke into the showroom of Royal Infovision, lifted a laptop from the display and ran away on a motorcycle.

The staff members and the owner of the showroom were engrossed in their work when the incident took place at 8.30 in the evening.

“It all happened at the blink of an eye. There was a motor­cyclist who was already waiting for him outside the showroom. We chased the person but he managed to get away,” informed Ankur Gupta, CEO, Royal Infovision.

Gupta has filed an FIR in the police station. The laptop lifted from the shop was HP Mini 110-1046TU. The serial number of the laptop was CNU9314mj2 and was pink in color. The laptop stolen was without battery.

Informing the partners about the incident, Gupta requested, “I know it is very hard for anyone to help, but still if one approaches for sale or purchase of laptop or battery, please do check and revert.”
