Lenovo conducts roadshows in Punjab

Ludhiana: In Punjab, Lenovo is witnessing rise in sales due to the publicity campaign undertaken by the regional distributors of the company.

Elaborating about the same Ankur Gupta, Public Relations Officer, Ludhiana Association said, "The main behind running the campaign is to increase the penetration of Lenovo products in tier-3, 4 and 5 cities. These roadshows aim at improving Lenovo's relationship with its channel partners and regional distributors. The main focus of the roadshow was to provide 'touch and feel' of the products."

As a result roadshows were conduced in Bathinda, Jalandhar, while two took place in Ludhiana.

The first roadshow in Bhatinda was attended by around 50 channel partners. The event in Ludhiana saw participa­tion of around 20 elite partners of the city while some partners from the surrounding areas of Khanna, Jagraon and Mulanpur respectively were also in attendance. The fourth and the concluding event was organized in Jalandhar. Here the gathering included around 20 partners from Jalandhar and nearby locations like Phagwara, Kapurthala, Nakodar etc. Through these partners the regional distributors plan to increase their market share in this part of the region.

Commenting about the initiative Yatindra Nath, Director-Consumer and SMB Sales, Lenovo remarked, “It was initiative to educate our channel partners on the innovations of Lenovo's products and also share with them our channel strategy. These roadshows, which spanned the cities of Bhatinda, Ludhiana and Amritsar received overwhelming response from 75 of our tier-3 channel partners. The roadshows were instru­mental in imple­menting Lenovo's ideals of reaching out to our channel partners, sharing their concerns and working towards resolving them with consensus. Through these multi-city roadshows, we aim to create an ideal platform for our consumers and channel partners to be exposed to the Lenovo brand image. This July, we launched seven new products in the consumer PC segment. The roadshows will greatly increase awareness

about the new range of products as well as educate partners about our channel policy.”
