Lenovo unveils IdeaPad Y710

Lenovo has announced the launch of IdeaPad Y710 notebook PC in India. The
IdeaPad Y710, equipped with a 17-inch monitor, brings to life a myriad of
features that deliver exciting multimedia and gaming experience. This is
Lenovo's first notebook with a 17-inch monitor with a resolution of 1,440x900.
For a graphics processor, Lenovo has used the ATI Radeon Mobility HD 2600 with
512MB of memory. Features like WLAN connectivity, Dolby Home Theatre system as
well as an optional Blu-ray DVD reader ensures that the IdeaPad Y710 notebook
caters to the entertainment enthusiast. The notebook also includes a performance
control switch with Turbo mode for maximum power, which includes CPU over
clocking and quiet mode for saving energy. The IdeaPad Y710 can also serve as a
desktop replacement due to its large screen, storage space, and performance.

Selected models of the Lenovo IdeaPad Y710 come with Game Zone functionality.
Game Zone includes enlarged directional buttons for enhanced game play, four
user-customizable buttons and a secondary display showing system information
such as CPU speed. The Lenovo IdeaPad Y710 is available from Rs 45,000 to
85,000.
