Lexmark names new Country Manager for India

International (India) Private Limited today announced the
appointment of Shailendra Aragula as country manager for India.

Aragula will oversee the company's
Indian operations and will play an instrumental role in strengthening
the company's presence through an aggressive growth strategy, said
a press release.He brings to his role extensive
experience in the IT industry, especially in the areas of business
development and channel partner management.“India is a key market for
Lexmark as
the demand for innovative printing solutions from enterprises of all
sizes continues to grow. Companies are keen to adopt solutions that
offer low power consumption, duplex printing and high-yield
cartridges for business competitiveness and cost efficiency, and
Lexmark is in a good position to offer the right solution at the
right price,” said Chin Hon-Cheng, vice president, Asia Pacific,
Lexmark International. He added that they are confident that
Shailendra's experience in the India market will further propel
Lexmark's success in both the enterprise as well as SMB segments.

Aragula will be primarily responsible
for the overall management of sales and marketing operations in
India.

He would establish Lexmark's presence
in the Indian market through the development of strategic channel
relationships as well as through the implementation of growth
strategies to deepen Lexmark's footprint in the Indian market. He
will report to Chin Hon-Cheng, Vice President, Asia Pacific, Lexmark
International.

Aragula has over 26 years of experience
in the IT industry, and has held leadership positions with HCL-HP,
Datacraft, Hewlett-Packard and Siemens. Prior to joining Lexmark, he
was executive vice president for Business Development at Semantic
Defence.
