Linksys announces wireless-G router

Linksys announced the new wireless-G broadband router WRT54G2-the successor
of Linksys by CiscoWRT54G router. The new router features the same sleek
industrial design as sported by the recent Ultra RangePlus family of wireless-N
routers (WRT160N and WRT310N).

The WRT54G2 is shipped with the Linksys EasyLink Advisor (LELA) application,
which is a technology advisor that makes life easier for the consumer. LELA will
automatically check for updates for all Linksys by Cisco products on the
network, and can configure other connected devices and computers. The interface
will help simplify set-up and maintenance of a home network. Helping to keeping
a network safe and secure can be configured with just one button on the WRT54G2.
The WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) feature is designed to help make securing
wireless devices easier. Simply push the WPS button on the router and on another
WPS-enabled wireless device to create an encrypted wireless connection between
them.
