Longing To Explore India's Beauty

Frequency of visits to India: I have been visiting India virtually every
month since September 2006. There have been times when I visited here every
fortnight due to workload. But I do not grudge these frequent travels to this
part of the world.

What you like about India: What got my attention the most during my
travels here was that India is very different from what I had heard about it.
People are very hospitable. And like most visitors to the country, I love Indian
food. It has such an excellent variety, though sometimes it has an adverse
effect on my diet plan. The environment here is very dynamic with exciting
market potential.

What you dislike about India: The traffic jams, poor infrastructure and lack
of cleanliness are some of the bugging things about India. Even the airline
congestion and unnecessary delay in flights makes it difficult for business
people to plan their schedules. But I must confess, the list of things I like is
much longer than the things I dislike.

What I look forward to in India: I wish I could adjust to the weather in New
Delhi as it is so hot. Or to be precise, I wish I could do something about the
unbearable heat. But, jokes apart, these days I see a lot of infrastructural
work happening in India, especially in North India. So I am waiting for the day
when all this will get over and the roads will be smoother with lesser traffic.
On the personal front, I am looking forward to planning a visit here to explore
the beauty and landscape of this country.

One thing about India that stuck to your mind: The kind of change that has
happened in India in the last decade is mind blowing. I visited India for the
first time in 1997. And last year when I re-visited, I was so surprised to see
the country has developed so much in the past 10 years. Also, people have
undergone a sea-change.Today, Indians are influenced by western style of
clothing, while keeping their culture in mind.
