Malabar association gears to battle MNS distys

Partners in Kozhikode are upset with the fact that some of the multinational
distributors are indulging in unhealthy practices in the market. According to
Vinod Kumar M, President, Malabar IT Dealers Association (MITDA), “Recent times
have seen some of the distributors indulging in unhealthy business practices,
and this is adversely affecting the channel business here. The local market
players are upset with the undercutting that distributors indulge in, especially
those distributors or sub-distributors who are foraying into the retail space.
We feel that this is an unfair practice and we will take concrete steps to
prevent the same.”
