Mercury launches Intel motherboards with HDMI support

Kobian has announced the launch of its latest Intel platform
motherboards-PIG41M and PIG43M with HDMI support. Without the need for add-in
cards or decoders, these motherboards can play audio video content for the
mainstream performance desktops.

PIG43M features Intel G43 Express and ICH10 chipsets, supports FSB1333 and
the 4 DIMM DDR2 800, Core 2 Duo offering an extended support up to 8GB. The
integrated GMA X4500 graphic engine supports smooth HD playback and Vista
Premium Eligible with DX10. The HDMI interface supports existing video formats
(720p, 1080i and 1080p), plus multi-channel digital audio on a single cable.
Combination with HDCP provides a secure audio/video interface that meets
security requirements of content providers and system operators.

PIG41M utilizes Intel G41 Express chipset supporting Intel 45nm processors
and Core 2 Quad processors. It is equipped with 2 DIMM DDR2 800 up to 4GB,
providing good scalability and total efficiency. Powered with the in-built GMA
X4500 graphics and clear video technology, it provides an output with 6.1
channel audio codec.

Currently, Mercury motherboard range includes entry-level Intel 945chipset
boards along with the mainstream Intel PIG31Z and Nvidia MCP73 motherboard.
