MGE appoints Bard Roy as regional distributor

Kolkata-based Bard Roy Infotech has joined hands with MGE Office Protection
Systems to distribute its power protection devices in the eastern India. “We
have been appointed as the exclusive regional distributor in East by MGE. Till
now, we were not present in the power supply segment, which is one of the most
lucrative business areas,” said Pradeep Jhawar, Director, Bard Roy Infotech.

The solution provider is already distributing products from brands like Wipro,
HCL and Microsoft OEM software packs. “With this new venture, we will be able to
provide full solutions to our channel partners as well as our customers whom we
cater to through our solution division,” he stated.

Apart from Kolkata, Bard Roy has its operations in Ahmedabad. By next year,
it plans to open branches in Delhi and Mumbai. In the East, the company operates
its distribution business through its channel network. “Till now, we were
focused in West Bengal primarily. But now we have decided to extend our focus to
other parts of East including Orissa, Jharkhand and Northeast,” informed Jhawar.

Lipi Data Systems has been appointed as the national distri­butor as well as
the authorized service partner for India. While the MGE UPS are covered with
two-year warranty, which includes battery, the products are generator compatible
as well.
