Microsoft partners with Redington in India

Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division announced the
appointment of Redington India as the sole distribution partner in India, for
Microsoft's Games for Windows business in India. As PCs are the largest gaming
platforms with 200mn gamers globally, Microsoft will leverage Redington's 39
strong branch network for reaching out to resellers and other consumer touch
points across top 100 cities in the country.

Elaborating on the partnership, Mohit Anand, Country Manager, Microsoft
Entertainment and Devices Division, India said "We share a long-standing
partnership with Redington in India as they have a good understanding of
retailing lifestyle products and have been the distributors of our Xbox 360. We
are confident that together we will be able to reach out to the ever expanding
space of gaming enthusiasts in India."

Games for Windows include a wide range of blockbuster games like Age of
Empires, Flight SimX, Halo 2 and covers many other exciting games of different
genres.

Speaking on the partnership, Vidur Sehgal, Head - Lifestyle SBU, Redington
India said, "Redington has endeavored to bring to our extensive retail
channel the best of Digital Lifestyle products. As part of this effort we have
partnered with Microsoft for distribution of the Next-Gen XBox 360 products. We
are proud to extend our association with Microsoft further, with distribution of
Games for Windows products to our retail channel. This association further
strengthens Redington's product offering in the gaming space, in line with our
commitment to the retail channel."
