MPITTA to hold IT expo in February

The Madhya Pradesh IT and Telecom Association is all set to organize 'Fonocom',
IT expo in Indore. The expo is scheduled from February 1st to 3rd. This time the
association has planned to give a new look to the event and the name of the expo
and theme will be changed. The new name of the expo will be 'IT Kumbh- A New Era
Fonocom.'

"All the members of the association wanted a new look to the event
because we have been organizing this event for a long time and it was becoming
monotonous. So we have changed the name of the event and given it an entirely
new theme. The stalls will given a traditional look - like that of a kumbh or
mela," said Manish Goyal, President, MPITTA.

Logitech and Intex are the main sponsors of the event. Other participating
vendors include Xerox, Apple and LG while Reliance Mobile is the communication
partner, besides Acer, Lenovo, HCL and Toshiba.

Overall, there would be 90 stalls and the expo hopes to get a participation
of 40 channel partners in the city. The partners would display IT products and
peripherals along with some attractive schemes for the visitors.

The association has been promoting the upcoming event in the town and has
been getting good response from the customers as well the IT dealers. "We
have got good response and all the bookings were done in the initial five days
of opening. Both vendors and channels have been showing great interest in
participating it," expressed Goyal.
