MS introduces VAT compliant solution for SMBs

Microsoft Corporation India will roll out eight city seminars to launch its
end-to-end VAT compliant solution, AdVATage aimed at the SMB segment. The
multi-city seminars will be conducted in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata,
Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad starting March 16, 2005. The offer
consists of a VAT ready accounting solution from Microsoft ISV partners - Wings,
Trio and Matrix coupled with a high-end hardware server from Microsoft System
Builder Partners and the Microsoft Small Business Server 2003.

The seminar will comprise of interactive discussions to explain the
fundamentals of VAT and its implications for the SMB segment in particular. A
solution showcase of VAT compliant accounting solutions built around the
Microsoft Windows Small Business Server will compliment this.
