My Pet Toy: Say "Cheese"

Software, photography is the best way to satisfy his urge for creativity. It
helps him strike a balance between work and leisure. He is so enthralled by
photography that at times he goes for vacations just to capture some enchanting
pictures. Apart from taking pictures he has also held photography exhibitions in
the past

Agendra Kumar has been in love with cameras from his school days. Even today
he does not compromise on this passion. He finds photography the best medium to
explore his creativity and is soon going to hold two exhibitions in New Delhi to
share his best pictures with art lovers.

Kumar learnt about photography and camera angles when he was a student in
BITS, Pilani. He even taught photography there. This attempt helped him to
polish his own skills.

His favorites in-camera subjects are heritage and nature. Often, he wakes up
at five in the morning to take some spectacular shots of monuments and nature.

After his college, Kumar could not concentrate much on photography, as he had
to focus his attention towards his career and married life. “I started taking it
seriously again in 2004 when I realized that I have got a collection of 1,000
odd pictures and felt that some of them were good enough to be shared with
others,” exclaimed Kumar. He held two exhibitions titled 'Symphony of silence'
and 'Sepia in color' that brought good response from art lovers.

Despite his hectic schedule, Kumar tries his best to devote enough time to
photography, which according to him is very rejuvenating. Whenever he goes for a
business trip, he extends his schedule by a couple of days to capture the beauty
of his surroundings.

“Whenever I go for any holiday, I consider photography as my first objective.
My favorite locations have been Hawaii and Rajasthan,” he said. Kumar is so
passionate about photography that he went to Greece for 10 days just to take
pictures. At present he has got three cameras; Minolta, a handycam and the
latest editon is a Nikon SLR D200.

Some day, Kumar hopes to take up his passion as a career. In fact, his wife
has always supported his love for photography and was the one who actually
compelled him to organize his own exhibitions. And now, Kumar has set a goal for
himself-to take pictures in Machu Picchu, a place in South America.
