The L300 virtual desktop provides rich,
full screen, full motion multimedia playback up to 1920x1080
resolution, transparent USB redirection, and simple but powerful
deployment and management tools. Its set up is simple, seamless and
scalable from the deployment of four workstations in a remote branch
office to several thousand virtual desktops in a corporate setup. The
L300 is based on the NComputing's Numo chip family of highly
integrated and multimedia enhanced System-on-Chips (SoC). When
combined with NComputing's vSpace virtualization software, it
delivers Windows virtual desktops and integrates into Citrix and
VMware VDI installations.

The L300 zero client costs less than
any other thin or zero client option in the market and is a quarter
of the cost of desktop PCs.

"The L300 brings all the
disruptive economic advantages we have already brought to the desktop
into the enterprise; and delivers the rich multimedia experience that
enterprise desktop users demand," said Stephen Dukker, Chairman
and CEO, NComputing. "We expect the L300 to expand adoption of
VDI in the enterprise and save over 75 percent in capital costs, 75
percent in operating costs and 90 percent in energy consumption
compared to other fully-deployed VDI client or desktop PCs.”
