NCR unveils PoS solution for small and mid-size Chinese retail outlets

NCR Corporation unveiled an easy-to-install point-of-sale (POS) solution
specially designed for the needs of small and mid-size retailers in the Greater
China region, offering them affordability and long-term business value.

Version 2.0 of the NCR NeighborhoodPOS application software and the new NCR
RealPOS 30 terminal are offered through its authorized dealer and reseller
channels in the region.

"In China, over 90% of retail outlets are taken up by smaller group and
single-store retailers, who are looking to automate their transactions with POS
solutions. This presents NCR with a great opportunity to extend our leading-edge
technology to all retailers in the region," says Keith Au, GM, Greater
China Area, Retail Solutions Division.

stores, the multipurpose software is equally adept at handling food service POS.
