Netgear promotes Atul Jain as Country Manager

p>Netgear Technologies India, a subsidiary of the $535 million Netgear Inc of the
United States of America, has promoted Atul Jain as its new Country Manager,
India and SAARC. Netgear technologies provides networking solutions to small and
medium businesses and home segments. Kerman Rana, who was NetGear's Regional
Manager for South and West, has been promoted as its Director-Channel Sales.

In his current responsibility Jain will be taking care of all the country
operations and will be responsible for sales and business development of Netgear
in India.

Speaking about his new plans after taking over Jain said, “This year, we
are aiming for 100 percent growth apart from appointing new VARs and SIs. Our
renewed focus will be on technical support to customers and higher impetus to
marketing initiatives.”

Discussing plans for channel sales, Rana said “Our agenda is to
substantially enhance our revenue by focusing on channel development and sales,
and at the same time ensuring channel profitability.”

Netgear Inc supplies networking products that enables users to share Internet
access, peripherals, files, digital multimedia content and applications among
multiple personal computers and other Internet-enabled devices. These products
are grouped into three major segments: Ethernet networking, broadband, and
wireless networking, which include switches, adapters, secure wired/wireless
routers and gateways.
