Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ series

Netgear Technologies India has announced the availability of ReadyNAS NV+
product family in the Indian market.

It is designed specifically for home offices, small businesses and
workgroups. It brings enterprise-level technology to the masses in a
cost-effective manner. It supports features such as gigabit Ethernet speeds,
system monitoring capabilities and built-in backup with hardware redundant array
of independent disks (RAID).

ReadyNAS NV+ family has various models including ReadyNAS NV+ RND4425, a 1TB
gigabit desktop network storage (4X250GB) with four hot swappable 250GB HDDs in
a small eight-inch high desktop design, (two 500GB HDD included, two open slots
for future expansion) and ReadyNAS NV+ RND4450 2TB gigabit desktop network
storage (4X500GB) with four hot swappable 500GB HDD in a small eight-inch high
desktop design. It works with Windows, Mac and Linux.

Availability and price

Available with two national distributors-Rashi Peri­pherals and Cyberstar
Infocom, the pricing of the products vary from Rs 75,000 to 2,25,000  for
various models available for desktop and rackmount format.
