Bangalore-based solutions provider Network Solutions (NetSol) has outlined an ambitious plan to make an entry into the international market. As a part of its strategy, the company is almost freezing up on marketing alliances in US, APac and European markets. The company already has its subsidiary in the Middle-East. "We are looking up either at a joint venture or sales partnership arrangements in different foreign locations," informs Sudhir Sarma, MD, NetSol. According to him, the company sees a vast opportunity in the overseas market and "with the kind of tools and services that we can offer, we surely stand to have a distinct advantage in those markets," adds he.

NetSol is looking at adopting an offshore service delivery management, which it believes will help it remain cost-competitive. "Lot of customers are now open to the idea of remote management and we have strong capabilities in that domain," says
Sudhir.

He further states that the company should be able to garner 10-15% of its overall revenue from its overseas business.

The company had a great year in terms of topline as well as bottomline growth. It grew from a turnover of Rs 126 crore (including dollar billing) in 2002-03 to clock Rs 190 crore in 2003-04. The company is also betting big on its productized software business. "We should be able to clock about Rs 7-8 crore from this business in the current fiscal," remarks
Sudhir.
