New Kids In The Club

There were many new entrants in the Next 25 Club, especially amongst the
distributors. Also a majority of these debutantes were from south India. These
included SV Electronics, Aldous Glare, Jain Peripherals, Sri Durga Computech,
Shweta Computers and Peripherals and Challenger Computers. The lone newcomer
other than these was the emerging sub-distributor Aar Vee Computers from Mumbai.

Among distributors, Venktron was displaced from its position in the Silver
Club to the Next 25 Club at #30. On the other hand Gela Tida Infotech, Balaji
Solutions and Vishal Peripherals moved up to #31, #32 and #35, respectively.

Jupiter International was the company in the Next 25 Club of distributors
that posted a negative growth of -28 percent this year, which was an improvement
from the -39 percent growth it posted in 2006-07.

Amongst SPs, Dream­quest Infotech relinquished its position in the Silver
Club to settle at #28 in the Next 25 Club. Ontrack Solutions too moved from the
Silver Club to rest at #39 in the Next 25 Club.

The newcomers to this league were New Wave Computing, Locuz Enterprise
Solutions, Infonet Solutions, Futuresoft Solutions, ABC Solutions and MM9
Information Technology. The fastest movers in the Next 25 Club were Nortech
Infotech, which moved from #42 to #32 in 2007-08, and Apsis Technology, which
moved from #43 to #36 this year.
