India's small businesses are no longer selling through a single online store. They now reach customers through websites, social media platforms, and messaging apps. But as sales channels multiply, managing orders, inventory, payments, and customer data has become increasingly fragmented. The Hostinger Ecommerce platform is designed to solve that challenge by giving merchants a single backend that connects every sales channel while keeping ownership of their business infrastructure.
Moving Beyond Marketplace Dependence
The launch reflects a larger shift in how digital commerce is evolving. While online platforms have made it easier for businesses to reach customers, many sellers still depend entirely on ecosystems they do not control. According to Hostinger, that creates a structural risk because a policy change on a third-party platform can directly affect a business's operations.
Rather than encouraging merchants to rebuild their stores whenever customer behaviour changes, the platform allows them to manage inventory, payments, shipping, customer data, and orders from one dashboard while connecting to multiple sales channels.
AI Takes Over Routine Store Management
One of the standout features is Quick Links. Merchants simply upload product images, and Hostinger's AI automatically generates product pages with descriptions, pricing suggestions, and product details. These links can then be shared across any channel, complete with checkout, payment, shipping, and cart functionality—even without a dedicated website.
The platform also introduces Kodee, an AI assistant that helps merchants through conversations. From onboarding and product management to SEO improvements and promotions, Kodee is designed to simplify everyday ecommerce tasks.
Built Around India's Growing Digital Entrepreneurs
The pricing strategy also targets smaller businesses, with zero transaction fees on ecommerce sales in India and hosting plans starting at ₹249 per month.
Hostinger says India has become its largest global market, growing from 1,629 customers in 2014 to over one million customers in May 2026. The company also highlights that Indian side-business owners are among the world's fastest adopters of AI tools, with 91% already using AI according to its survey.
