Enterprises can track what they buy from outsourced and contingent teams, but proving what they actually receive is harder. ProHance is addressing that gap with its ProHance Unified workforce platform, designed to give enterprises a single governance layer for measuring the performance of contingent teams.
The platform brings Finance, Delivery and Vendor Management onto the same data set, moving away from supplier-reported information as the main reference point for workforce performance.
Contingent workforce management moves beyond compliance
Managing the Contingent workforce has traditionally focused on vendor onboarding, contracts and compliance. ProHance's latest platform points to a wider role, where enterprises also need to connect workforce spending with delivery, risk and business value.
The need becomes more significant as non-permanent labour accounts for a sizeable share of enterprise workforces. The release cites Staffing Industry Analysts, which reports that formal enterprise buyers have an average of 21% of their immediate workforce in non-permanent labour, with projections reaching 26%.
That makes simply proving that work happened a limited measure. Enterprises also need to understand whether work became a deliverable, stayed on schedule and justified what was billed.
Workforce analytics puts cost, delivery and output together
ProHance has built the platform around three measures: cost leakage, SLA adherence and output.
Cost leakage connects spending with what is delivered. SLA adherence focuses on predictability in time-and-materials engagements, while output looks at the value created beyond basic utilisation.
Putting these measures together gives Workforce analytics a more practical role. Instead of Finance, Delivery and Vendor Management working from separate tools, the platform gives them a shared view of performance.
Contingent teams get a common governance layer
The shift is particularly relevant for Contingent teams, where different departments may otherwise rely on different records and measures. ProHance says the platform can help enterprises reallocate idle capacity, validate invoices, support evidence-based renewal discussions and identify delivery risks earlier.
The platform has been deployed across Fortune 100 companies, where ProHance says it was tested and validated.
For enterprises, the bigger change is in how workforce performance is measured. The ProHance Unified workforce platform moves the conversation from whether outsourced work took place to what that work delivered, giving Finance, Delivery and Vendor Management a common basis for decisions.
